Wood-based cylindrical activated carbon is a cylindrical industrial adsorbent made from forestry processing residues such as wood chips and coconut shells. The raw materials are crushed and extruded into shape, and then processed through carbonization and activation. It uses a non-bonded molding technique, which avoids the pore-blocking issues associated with traditional binders. It features a reasonable pore size distribution, low ash content (about 3%), and a high carbon tetrachloride adsorption rate (CTC > 100%). It is suitable for applications such as organic solvent recovery, waste gas treatment, gas-phase adsorption, and industrial water treatment.
